Grades explained

Every device on AgainNew carries one of four grades: Brand New, Superb, Good or Fair. All are fully functional; the grade describes how the screen glass, display and body look. Bulk lots list the number of units in each grade.

Brand New

100% brand new • No functional defects

  • OverallNo functional defects.
  • Screen glassAll new. No scratches.
  • DisplayPerfect condition. No dead pixels or dots.
  • BodyAll new. No scratches or dents.

100% brand new: unused, with no scratches, dents or dead pixels.

Superb

Excellent condition • No functional defects

  • OverallNo functional defects.
  • Screen glassMinimal scratches that are barely noticeable, only when the screen is off.
  • DisplayPerfect condition.
  • Chrome / bodyMinor signs of wear and light scratches. Invisible from a 20 cm distance.
Superb grade: Overall — No functional defects. Screen glass — Minimal scratches that are barely noticeable, only when the screen is off. Display — Perfect condition. Chrome / body — Minor signs of wear and light scratches. Invisible from a 20 cm distance.

Good

Fully functional • Visible light scratches and 1–2 minor dents

  • OverallNo functional defects.
  • Screen glassMay have 4–6 micro scratches visible from 20 cm. They do not impact visibility when the device is on.
  • DisplayMay have 1 minor dot (pixel) in the display. No impact on visibility.
  • Chrome / bodyVisible light scratches and 1–2 minor dents.
Good grade: Overall — No functional defects. Screen glass — May have 4–6 micro scratches visible from 20 cm. They do not impact visibility when the device is on. Display — May have 1 minor dot (pixel) in the display. No impact on visibility. Chrome / body — Visible light scratches and 1–2 minor dents.

Fair

Fully functional • Visible wear and scratches

  • OverallNo functional defects.
  • Screen glassMay have 7–8 micro scratches visible from 20 cm. They do not impact visibility when the device is on.
  • DisplayMay have up to 3 minor dots or light shading at the edges. Very hard to find.
  • Chrome / bodyHas 5–8 visible scratches and/or dents.
Fair grade: Overall — No functional defects. Screen glass — May have 7–8 micro scratches visible from 20 cm. They do not impact visibility when the device is on. Display — May have up to 3 minor dots or light shading at the edges. Very hard to find. Chrome / body — Has 5–8 visible scratches and/or dents.
